In November 2014, the Arizona State Board of Education adopted a new statewide achievement test, AzMERIT, for Arizona students. As you know, Arizona’s College and Career Ready standards means higher standards and increased rigor; that increased level of expectation can be seen in this first administration of the AzMERIT exam.
