The Book Fair will be here soon and we will have more books available than ever before! The Book Fair will be held March 4-7, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Culinary Room. There will be a Family Night event on Wednesday, March 6, beginning at 3:30 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. Bring the whole family.


If you can’t make it to the fair, but still want to buy books please visit www.scholastic.com/fair/   Online sales also benefit our school. Books will be available for many age groups both online and at the fair.


Many teachers will have a wish lists of books that are desired for their classroom libraries. These lists will be posted on the chalkboard in the Culinary Room. This is a great opportunity to put books into the hands of our students. You do not have to have a student in a specific grade to purchase books for a classroom.


Please come out and support the Book Fair. You are not only adding books to classroom libraries, personal collections, and the school library, you are also supporting student literacy. All of the profits made at this fair will be put back into buying more books for our students to use in their classrooms and in the library.


Please be aware that we are required to collect a 7.1% sales tax. This will slightly increase the price that you pay for a book. Also, we will be accepting cash, checks, and credit cards. All checks should be made to San Simon School.
